Interest groups and initiatives

Let’s get more active women and girls in the mountains, thereby enriching the whole mountain adventure community. And let’s get more people active in the outdoors to spread the passion for nature and sustainability.

Do you want to join a local community or an interest group with women or mixed teams sharing your passion? Or do you want to get inspiration from groups and initiatives who share your values? Check up the groups below.

There is an increasing number of interest groups and local communities for women. Several traditional outdoor associations are also organizing more and more activities with a focus on attracting or strengthening women.

Here we gather and highlight the ones we know of in order to enable linkage and idea exchange.

If you belong to, or are aware of, a community or activity that would fit in this list but is not already in here, please give us a tip!

Links to web pages to each interest group are provided for free. Links to social media pages plus regular updating and maintenance of links are offered for a fee.
